Come out, show us your inner leprechaun and support Project Yesu at our 4th annual Go Green for Africa St. Patrick’s Day 10K , 5K & 1 Mile Fun Run! Family fun event for runners/walkers of ALL ages and levels!
Same great race…new location and slightly different courses!
Also new this year bring your little ones for the Leprechaun Loop a short course for littles 1 year – 4 years old!
Bring out your inner leprechaun and dress up – prizes will be given to the runners with the most spirit!
Our 10K and 5K will be chip-timed by Clarksville Running Club our 1 Mile Fun Run is manually timed
Awards will be given in the 10K & 5K for top 3 male and female runners in their age division as well as overall male and female with best time. In the 1 Mile Fun Run awards will be give for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place overall
New this year – Want to give but can’t run or walk in the race? Register as a “Ghost Runner” were you can give towards this fundraiser without running or walking in the race but you still get one of our great shirts (as long as you register by March 4th)

*Note: Shirts will only be guaranteed if you register by March 4th. A limited number of shirts will be available the day of the race for anyone who registers after March 4th, on a first come first serve basis.

9:30am Leprechaun Loop (Ages 1 year – 4 years)

Course will start and finish at Grace Community Church. The 10K and 5K will be chip-timed by Clarksville Running Club
Race Day Registration
Race day registration will close 30 minutes before the race is set to start, no registrations will be accepted after the cut off. 10K cut off 6:30am | 5K cut off 8:00am | 1 Mile & Leprechaun Loop cut off 9:00am

The race will take place rain or shine, and my entry fee is NON-REFUNDABLE.
Virtual 5K
For the first year we will be hosting a virtual 5K along with our annual run!
Friends from around the world can join Project Yesu virtually and run a 5K!
What is a virtual 5K you ask?
A virtual race can be run (or walked!) anytime and anywhere, even indoors on a treadmill. Simply register for our virtual 5K, complete the distance (3.1 miles/5km) any time and anywhere you desire (even on a treadmill!), and post your finish time to our website.
You have from March 1 – March 17, 2017 to participate! But you must register by February 28, 2017
You are not required to run (or walk) your distance all at one time. Feel free to break it up into several runs if you need to.
We accept results on the honor system, so you can track your distance and time however you like. The most accurate way to do this is by using a Running GPS watch, but there are also several free smartphone apps available for iPhones and Android devices that you may use.
After you register you will receive an email with a Digital Bib that you can wear while you run if you would like! These digital bibs are for your enjoyment and are not required for you to complete your virtual run.
You will also be emailed a form where you can post your finish time!
After the 17th and all racers have finished we will mail out medals to all participants!
Take photos while running your race and email them to mallory@projectyesu.org and post them to social media using the hashtag #GoGreenV5K!

Ate strollers permitted on the course?
Yes, absolutely!! You can bring your strollers!
Can the 5k be walked?
Yes absolutely! The 5K can be walked
I noticed the virtual runners get medals. Do the actual race day runners get medals too?
No ma’am…only the virtual runners get a medal, they do not get shirts. The live runners all get shirts.
I may just not be reading this well, but are there medals for the live 5k and 10k?
No sir, we are doing medals for the virtual 5K and t-shirts for the live race. Virtual runners do not get a shirt.
Are the shirts t-shirts or dri fit? I’m trying to figure out if I ordered the correct size.
Hi, the shirts are regular t-shirts. If you need to change your size please email rory@projecyesu.org
Do I need to register my 8 year old that will be walking with me?
Not unless you want him/her to have their own number and get a t-shirt, if you want that then yes, you will need to register him/her
I had to leave immediately following the 5K – will results be posted somewhere after all is finished?
